No remedy surpasses Arnica for injuries by blunt objects. In other words, injuries by pointed objects usually require Ledum. Abrasions should be treated with Calendula topically, and Arnica orally. Head injuries can often benefit from Natrum Sulph. given after Arnica. Head injuries are usually encounters with blunt objects. Ruta is the number one remedy here. Often ice should not be used unless you want to get the player back into the game. Swelling serves the purpose of bringing nutrients to the area, the blood vessels dilate and the fluid prevents too much motion of the joint -- what you want in a joint sprain. Most supports just create pressure, preventing swelling and they reduce circulation. A brace that prevents ankle motion is a good idea. If you catch the sprain soon enough you can start with Arnica, then switch over to Ruta.Rates and Fees

scale fees to accommodate those who are feeling the financial pressures
of our times. Sliding fee scales are based on the honor system.
Income less than $30,000/year - $65/hour
$31,000-$60,000 -$95/hour
Over $60,000 $125/hour
Initial consults are 2 hours long and are charged at the hourly rate.
Follow-up visits depend on the severity of your health issues, but are
usually monthly and take an hour.
Telephone consultations are billed at the same rate as the office
consultations. I use Skype, the telephone, and email with patients who live too far away to come in person to
evaluate and plan your healing process.
You may call in between scheduled visits to ask questions and fine-tune
your homeopathic/nutritional program.
The first 10 minute telephone call after a visit is no charge. Then it is according to your hourly rate.
24 hour cancellation by telephone is required.
